Samuel King, Vice President of Program Management and S.I.U. (Special Investigation Unit) Services of Frasco, Inc., supervises the operations of Frasco Program Management and S.I.U, a division that provides Program Management, S.I.U., and Anti-Fraud Program services. Sam brings to Frasco over 26 years of experience as a professional investigator, investigations manager, and investigation executive.
Prior to joining Frasco, Mr. King was the Senior Vice President of the Western Region of a national investigations firm, where he established the firm's Special Investigation Unit and several other business units nationwide. He was also the former Director of Field Operations and S.I.U. for a national insurance corporation, where he created and implemented the company's investigation and anti-fraud programs. Sam's S.I.U. team received national recognition in numerous trade publications, including The Journal of Commerce and The National Underwriter. Additionally, the California Workers' Compensation Institute recognized his team as the leader in insurance fraud fighting efforts and identified the unit as the most proactive Special Investigative Unit in the nation. In June of 2000, Sam's contributions and leadership in fraud-fighting efforts in his company's S.I.U. program earned him the company's "Chairman's Award," the highest honor given to an employee within the entire corporation.
Mr. King is the former Chairman of the California Department of Insurance Fraud Division's Committee on S.I.U. Training. He is also a former Chairman of the California Workers' Compensation Institute's (CWCI) Anti-Fraud Committee. Sam is an internationally recognized speaker and author on topics in the insurance and investigations arena.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California, as well as certificates from the Los Angeles Police Academy. He is POST (Police Officer Standards & Training) Certified through the California Department of Justice with Law Enforcement Investigations, Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Courses.
